Dr. Jenny Bekeschus, D.C., PT Open or Close
Dr. Bekeschus is the director of the Toronto Health Centre, dedicated to the practice of preventative health care and the treatment of injuries through her unique integration of physiotherapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture treatment. She has over 26 years of experience in treating accident, trauma and orthopaedic injuries. Dr. Bekeschus also provides preventative and recuperative care for patients suffering from:
- Sports injuries (muscle strains, ligament sprains)
- Backache (acute or chronic)
- Stress/tension related ailments
- Occupational injuries
- Orthodontic facial pain
- TMJ Syndrome
Jenny Bekeschus is one of only six practioners in Ontario licensed to practice both Physiotherapy and Chiropractic medicine. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Toronto and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In addition to her busy practice, Dr. Bekeschus is also sought after for corporate seminars and speeches on Stress Management, Wellness and Longevity, and is able to do ergonomic assessments.

Dr. Ryan Albert, D.C. Open or Close
Dr. Ryan Albert holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College having graduated cum laude in 2017. He completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2016. Dr. Albert also holds an Honors Bachelor degree from McMaster University in Biology with a minor in Psychology. In between post-secondary degrees, Dr. Albert spent three years working at the University Health Network’s intensive care units facilitating research in critical care medicine.
Dr. Albert’s goals in practice are two-fold:
The first is to help others achieve a greater state of health and respect for their bodies than they are currently experiencing. The second is to educate and promote on the concept of proactivity, in other words, making positive or necessary changes before crisis strikes.
Dr. Albert is a strong advocate for anything that gets people active and out of their sedentary lifestyles. In his free time he enjoys weight training, playing volleyball, boxing, skiing and spending time outdoors.
Ankur Patel, Physiotherapist Open or Close
Ankur received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from McGill after receiving his Bachelors of Science from the University of Toronto.
Since then, he has continued his passion for evidence based practice by taking courses in K-Taping, the McKenzie method, Acupuncture, and Manual Therapy, and is continuing to build his knowledge and skills through post-graduate education.
Ankur has experience working with clients from all walks of life – from weekend warriors to competitive athletes. He absolutely loves what he does, and integrates the basics of physiotherapy in everyday life. Outside of work, you will find him enjoying the outdoors and any kind of sport (watching and playing!). He is looking forward to continuing his work at the Toronto Health Centre with the diverse client population that Toronto has to offer.
Tina Bui, BSc. DCh. Open or Close
Tina Bui, our chiropodist at the Toronto Health Centre, graduated from the Michener Institute in 2014. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings including clinical and surgical. Over the years, she has focused on the importance of foot care along with educating patients about proper footwear. Other services she offers include foot wound care, debridement, nail care, diabetic foot care, nail fungus infection treatment, partial and total nail avulsion, biomechanical assessment, orthotic and aircast fitting.
Keisha Davis-Mackay, Registered Massage Therapist Open or Close
Keisha graduated from ICT Kikkawa College Massage Therapy Program in 2008. She took a year off to recover from a car accident where she experienced and embraced the knowledge of first hand pain. She did some travelling before coming to work with the Toronto Health Centre in 2009. Keisha is experienced in Swedish massage, Reflexology, aroma therapy, Thai massage, and deep tissue massage.
Allison Cumberbatch, Registered Massage Therapist Open or Close
Allison graduated from Everest College in 2011. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings including clinical and spa. Over the years, she has focused on the importance of relaxation along with Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques. She is also educated in craniosacral therapy, which she incorporates to achieve deep relaxation and in pre-natal massage. She has been with the Toronto Health Centre team since 2013.
